Who we are and how to contact us

This notice explains how Deep Clean Perth uses personal information when you enquire about or use our cleaning services.

For privacy questions or requests, email deepcleanperth@hotmail.com, call 07517 906813, or write to Deep Clean Perth, Unit D, Arran House Business Park, Arran Road, Perth, PH1 3DZ.

Information we collect

We collect the information you give us through our quote and contact forms, by email, by phone or in person. This may include your name, contact details, property address, business details, cleaning requirements, access and parking information, preferred dates and photographs.

We may also keep quotations, correspondence, booking details and records of work and payments. Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry. Photographs are optional; avoid including people, confidential documents or unnecessary personal details.

How and why we use your information

We use your information to respond to enquiries, assess cleaning requirements, prepare quotations, arrange and carry out work, communicate with you and maintain relevant business records.

Where you are arranging a service for yourself, we use information needed to take steps at your request before a contract and to fulfil that contract. Our legitimate interests include managing business enquiries, communicating with business customers, maintaining relevant job records, protecting our business and handling complaints or disputes. We also retain information where required by law, including applicable financial record-keeping requirements.

Without sufficient contact or job information, we may be unable to respond or prepare a quote. Submitting an enquiry does not confirm a booking. We do not sell your personal information, and submitting a quote request does not sign you up for marketing.

Forms, photographs and service providers

We use Brevo to deliver website enquiries and any uploaded photographs to our Microsoft email inbox. Our hosting and email providers may process technical information to deliver and protect these services. Copies delivered to our inbox are kept under the criteria below.

We may share relevant information with service providers helping us operate our website or business, and with contractors where necessary to arrange agreed work. Information may also be shared with professional advisers or authorities where necessary for legal obligations or claims. Some providers operate internationally and may process information outside the UK.

We do not use enquiry photographs for advertising or social media without separate permission.

Temporary saved answers: five minutes

Our enquiry forms temporarily save typed answers and selected options in your browser’s tab storage so you can recover a draft after refreshing or returning to the form. Saving a draft does not submit your enquiry.

Draft recovery expires five minutes after your last form interaction. Expiry removes the recoverable copy; it does not erase answers already visible on an open form. Use Clear answers to remove the draft and reset the form sooner, particularly on a shared device. The saved draft is also cleared when the form’s thank-you page opens.

Uploaded photographs and the consent checkbox are not restored. You must select photos again and tick the checkbox before submitting.

How long we keep your information

We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected. Relevant enquiry emails and photographs may be kept with customer and job records to document instructions, quotations and work, support an ongoing customer relationship, and handle complaints or disputes.

When deciding how long information is needed, we consider whether the enquiry or work remains active, its relevance to the customer relationship, applicable legal and accounting requirements, and any outstanding complaint or claim. Information no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised. The five-minute draft limit does not apply to submitted enquiries or emails.

Website storage and security

The temporary form-recovery feature uses browser session storage. Website hosting and delivery services may process technical request information to serve pages and maintain security. External services you open, including social platforms, have their own privacy and cookie information.

We take reasonable measures to protect personal information and limit access to those who need it for business purposes. No internet or email system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your rights and complaints

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or a portable copy. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Your right to object: you may object to processing based on our legitimate interests. You can also object to direct marketing at any time.

Contact us using the details above to exercise your rights or raise a privacy complaint. Rights are subject to applicable legal conditions; for example, we may need to retain certain records to meet legal obligations or deal with a claim.

You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator.

We update this page when our practices change. The date above shows when this version was last updated.
