How we clean your carpets
Vacuum, pre-treat and steam clean
We vacuum your carpet, checking its condition and identifying areas needing particular attention. We then apply a suitable pre-spray and thoroughly steam clean it using our truck-mounted system. Any specialist stain treatment is discussed with you before proceeding.
Provide aftercare guidance
We explain how to care for your freshly cleaned carpet, including drying, ventilation and furniture precautions, and provide aftercare instructions to refer to at home.

How long will my carpets take to dry?
Your carpets may dry much sooner, but please allow up to 24 hours. Drying time depends on the carpet, temperature, ventilation and moisture levels inside your home. We provide aftercare instructions explaining how to help your carpets dry and when to return furniture.
Can you remove stains?
We tackle everyday marks as part of the clean and assess any stains that need further attention. Specialist treatment may cost extra, which we discuss before proceeding. Results depend on the stain and carpet condition; complete removal cannot be guaranteed.
Can cleaning help with pet odours?
Cleaning can help by removing dirt and contamination from the carpet. If the source has reached the backing, underlay or floor beneath, further work may be needed. Tell us about pet accidents when requesting your quote so we can advise.
Do I need to move the furniture?
Please clear small items from the carpet where possible, rather than placing them on sofas. Items removed should stay off the carpet until it is dry.
We move manageable furniture where practical. Large or heavy furniture and TV units normally stay in place. If you would like these moved, please discuss this with us beforehand. Units must be completely emptied, and additional charges may apply.
When we move furniture and return it to damp carpet, we place protectors beneath wooden or metal feet.
Can you clean carpets in upstairs flats?
Yes, where parking and hose access allow us to use the truck-mounted system. Please tell us your floor level and any parking or access restrictions when enquiring. If access is unsuitable, we can discuss whether another cleaning method is appropriate.
How much does carpet cleaning cost?
Domestic cleaning is normally quoted per room, with the size, condition, location and access taken into account. Use our quote form to tell us what needs cleaning. Photos of the rooms and any areas of concern would help us provide a more accurate quote. We’ll confirm the price before you book.
